Senior Entrepreneur is a program I suggested to my Senior Center. The idea was to bring people together to support each other while finding ways to supplement income with cottage industries or home-based businesses.
They liked the idea, ran it for a few meetings, but unfortunately there wasn't enough interest to keep it going.

(I am a photographer, have been since 2013 - started when I was 60 with an account selling stock photos on the Dreamstime stock photo platform. Stock platforms are places where businesses can purchase general, commercial images for their online or print articles without needing a photographer or designer. In case you are curious, here's my portfolio: TheTinyPhotograper, so named because I started with macro (close-up) photos, mostly flowers.)
The inspiration for the Senior Entrepreneur program came from a series of articles in the Sixty and Me newsletter. Below I have listed the articles about senior entrepreneurs. If you have some interest - and maybe some friends who are interested, too! - they may be helpful for you getting started on a new adventure!
